The fifth grade welcomed some very special guests today for Intergenerational Day. Family and friends gathered in the lunchroom to hear from Mrs. Rosner and Rabbi Krauss. Rabbi Krauss told the students that they should truly appreciate those who came before us and who have great wisdom and mesorah to share. The students and their guests then headed to the gym where an amazing "Heritage Fair" took place. 30 family members set up workshops and taught the students everything from playing chess, to making egg creams! The sixth grade was also invited to share in this exciting and interesting program. Outside of the gym a museum was set up displaying special family heirlooms and artifacts. Everyone truly enjoyed the morning's program and we thank the fifth grade team for the hard work and effort they put into making such a special program.
